The artist invited viewers to pen hateful epithets such as "dyke" or "faggot" on her body eliciting emotional discomfort and instigating"a larger community of people assisting in collective history of the 'reclaiming' of these words."

In an interior space in DUMBO, artist José Ruiz will present three action-based videos, Playing the Field, Ghost Signatures & Minimalist Graffiti and Black Hole.
